In a reimagined fashion art piece - drawn from my practice through the exploration of the creating of textiles through natural dyeing, painting and hand printing. The inclusion of elements of the cast net is a nod to the 2025 Indigenous Round Jersey and the workshop with the players, which continues their involvement with the design process. These cast net features are layered with the ‘woven to our ancestors' patterns to talk about the generations past and future.

Banksia dye circles is the use of bark in the dyeing of the nets and basket fibres. It's about connecting to our old practices. It's those fundamental skills and practices our people used in the past and how these players use those very skills today.

Sandlines and waterlines are representative of land and sea - of our varied Countries, it's a starting point to think about where we all live, work and play and that our Ancestors have cared for those different Countries.
